Dinosaurs Added to Annual Yakima Driving Holiday Festival
YAKIMA, Washington – State Fair Park adds an unusual touch to its annual driving vacation event with over 30 miles of fairy lights, Santa Claus, reindeer and now – dinosaurs.
“Why not? We love dinosaurs,” said Kathy Kramer, CEO and President of the Central Washington Fair Association. “We actually had them in our prop inventory and thought how fancy and fun it was. and it’s going to be unexpected. “
Kramer said he bought the dinosaurs earlier this year and got no changes to to integrate them this fall at the Central Washington State Fair. She said that is why they decided to release them for the 2nd annual drive-through party festival.
The first event was created in the fall of 2020 to provide a safe activity for the community to be able to get out and have fun during the pandemic. After thousands of people flocked to the event, the organizers decided to make it an annual event.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., November 27 to December 4, with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m. to allow cars to start lining up. Regular admission is $ 10 per car or truck and $ 20 per limousine, bus or motorhome.
This year, attendees can purchase a limited number of Quick Passes, allowing them to enter through a separate door and skip the line. absolutely. The HLF Fast Pass costs $ 20 per vehicle and $ 40 per limousine, bus, or motorhome.
