5. Content submitted: The Content must not have been previously published. The photo must not represent any recognizable person. By submitting Content, each participant represents and warrants that: (a) the Content is original and was created solely by the participant and was not copied, in whole or in part, from a work protected by the copyrighted or owned by someone else, (b) the entrant has all rights necessary to submit the content of this contest and grant the rights provided herein; (c) the Content does not violate any copyright or trademark laws, and does not plagiarize, defame, defame, denigrate, infringe or infringe the rights of third parties; (d) the Content does not contain illegal, indecent, obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit content, nor any offensive or inappropriate content such as aberrant behavior, graphic violence, drug addiction or nudity; (e) the Content does not promote bigotry, racism, hatred or prejudice against any group or individual or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; (f) the distribution, reproduction, display and any other use of any part of the Content by Chicago Tribune or any of its affiliates, as authorized herein, will not infringe any rights of third parties; and (g) the content complies in all respects with these Official Rules, including the submission requirements and the Chicago Tribune Terms of Use at https://www.tribpub.com/central-terms-of -service/. Any entry which is determined by Chicago Tribune in its sole discretion at any time during the Contest as violating the Submission Requirements or these Official Rules or Terms of Use, or otherwise inappropriate, offensive or in bad taste, may be rejected and the the accompanying entry is disqualified and, if applicable, removed from the voting website. Chicago Tribune retains its sole discretion as to whether an entry meets the submission requirements, and its decisions are final. Each participant further agrees to own Chicago Tribune and its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, franchisees and promoters, and all their representatives, employees, contractors, officers, directors, agents and related persons. (collectively, the “Released Parties”), free from and against all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities and causes of action of any kind which are based on or arise out of any breach by such participants of these guarantees or representations made by the participant or of these Official Rules.
