Truro Cathedral is set to host its first masquerade ball to see on New Years Eve.
Prom dresses and tuxedos will be required as the dress code will be strictly a black tie and a mask of your choice.
Live music for the Masquerade at Truro Cathedral in Cornwall will be provided by the Electric Swing Circus and Showhawk Duo, followed by a silent disco.
Upon entry, guests will be greeted on the red carpet by fire eaters, waders and voltigeurs.
At midnight, the cathedral bells will ring on New Year’s Eve with their iconic chimes before the celebrations continue into the wee hours of the morning.
The event is hosted by Quick Panda Productions, run by Ian Whittaker and Ben Hall, who are behind other successful events such as Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival and The Great Estate.
Ian and Ben said: “New Years Eve is something that should always be celebrated in style, but maybe more this year after the pandemic. The evening symbolizes a new beginning and with our masquerade the goal is to create truly unique memories for people in an extravagant way.
“We are delighted that Truro Cathedral is our location for this event, as the Gothic design provides the ultimate setting for this enchanted evening. Early bird tickets sell out quickly, so we encourage people to book their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. “
